If you have big feet, pained knees, wide hips, or toed-out feet, then Kneesavers might be the solution. Not everyone needs these, but for those that do, kneesavers can make the difference between a painful and pleasant ride.
Kneesavers go between your pedals and the crankarm, giving up to 20 degrees of toe-out. This modification can often minimize or eliminate hip, knee, ankle or foot pain. These clip-less, case-hardened steel pedal adapters come in 20mm, 25mm and 30mm widths. They are easily installed and can increase the range of both fixed and floating pedals from a maximum of 4-5 degrees of toe-out to as much as 20 degrees.
